How to Set Up a Payment Plan
If you’ve received a bill from us that you can’t pay in full, you can set up a payment plan through our automated system, Teleplan, available 24 hours a day at (804) 440-5100. You can also call our Collections Department at (804) 367-8045 to speak with a Service Representative during regular business hours (Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.)
For both options, you’ll need your 9-digit Social security Number or federal employee identification number.
Teleplan will not allow you to set up an automated payment plan if one of the following actions is in place on your account:
- padlock, revocation, criminal warrant, bond or hold
- third party lien, pending lien, bankruptcy, existing payment plan or assignment to an outside collection agency
If the account is not eligible to be set up through Teleplan or if the terms of your plan aren’t accepted, your call will be directed to a Service Representative. If your call is made outside of our business hours, you will be instructed to call back during regular hours and speak with a Service Representative.
If we accepts the terms of your payment plan (monthly or semi-monthly) you must:
- make all payments when they become due
- timely file and pay any future returns
