Delinquent Taxpayer List

As part of our collection efforts, the Department of Taxation is publishing the names of businesses having unresolved tax liabilities. Before the Department takes the step of posting the delinquent business, the business is given opportunities to voluntarily settle its liabilities. A certified letter, with return receipt requested, was provided with the final opportunity.

All information provided on this site is public information resulting from a Memorandum of Lien being recorded in the clerk's office of one or more Virginia circuit courts. The current amount due may differ from the Memorandum of Lien amount as a result of additional tax liabilities, partial payments, and accrual of additional penalty and interest.

Businesses will be removed from the list as they resolve their liabilities or if they file bankruptcy. Resolution of liabilities can be met by:

Receiving payment in full
Acceptance of an Offer in Compromise

Posting to the delinquent taxpayer listing does not prevent the Department of Taxation from pursuing other administrative and legal collection actions.
