The Virginia Department of Taxation, in association with the International Association of Assessing Officers (IAAO), will once again offer our Advanced Assessors School at the University of Mary Washington, Stafford Campus from June 10 - 14, 2013
On-Site Registration
Registration will be held on-site in the University of Mary Washington's North Building Atrium on Monday, June 10, from 6-8 a.m.

With sufficient enrollment, the following three classes will run consecutively:
WORKSHOP 171 IAAO STANDARDS OF PROFESSIONAL PRACTICE AND ETHICS
WORKSHOP 257 FUNDAMENTALS OF INDUSTRIAL VALUATION
WORKSHOP 710 VALUATION OF GOLF COURSES
With sufficient enrollment, two of the following three classes will run consecutively:
WORKSHOP 551 VALUATION OF MACHINERY AND EQUIPMENT
WORKSHOP 552 BASIC PERSONAL PROPERTY AUDITING
WORKSHOP 553 ADVANCED BASIC PERSONAL PROPERTY AUDITING
Please indicate your top three course choices on your application. You may also request a course not listed above. Please see the school application for more information.
Some courses require a minimum number of students to enroll (generally 25 students). Courses with insufficient enrollment may not be offered.

Costs
Courses - $500
Workshop 171 - $150
Workshops 257 and 710 - $275 each
Workshops 551, 552 and 553 - $325 each
Costs include tuition, exams for the 30-hour courses, and the Course Student Reference Manual. This cost does not include textbooks. See the course descriptions on the IAAO website for textbooks needed, and place your order directly with the IAAO at (800) 616-4226.
Location and Accommodations
All classes will be held in UMW's North Building; on-site registration will take place in the atrium of the North Building. There are a number of hotels nearby.
