A nonprofit public service corporation organized for the purpose of supplying water is not exempt from the State franchise tax. There is no statutory provision exempting such corporations.

A nonprofit public service corporation organized for the purpose of supplying water is not exempt from property taxes. However, the General Assembly may, by three-fourths vote, exempt the corporation's property from tax.
