Community Involvement
The purpose of our TAX Community Involvement Program is to positively impact the communities where we live and work. We do this by building relationships and promoting goodwill both inside and outside the Agency. Lending a helping hand when it's needed.
You will find that TAX employees are involved in booster clubs, 4-H, the Humane Society, youth coaching and refereeing, girl scouting, and helping their "student buddy" with subjects such as reading, spelling and math. They help fight cancer by participating in the Ukrop's Monument Avenue 10k Run, contributing to the Commonwealth of Virginia Campaign, a statewide workplace charitable campaign and by helping to build houses for Richmond's needy with the Richmond Metro Habitat for Humanity.
Since 2004, TAX has participated in the Central Virginia Food Bank drive, helping to get food to those who need it.
